From coastal tides to sweet creations, join us for a beautifully curated summer experience combining custom charm jewelry, cake decorating, and a relaxed afternoon of creativity.

In collaboration with Sugar Thumb Studio, Lumen House, and The Collective Bead Co., this event invites guests into a stylish space filled with coastal-inspired design, soft summer tones, and delicious cake artistry.

Your Afternoon

1:00–2:00 PM | Coastal Charm Bar

Begin your experience by designing your own custom charm jewelry with The Collective Bead Co.  

Your ticket includes a $25 jewelry credit toward your piece.

Choose your chain:

• Bracelet — $25
• Necklace — $35

Then browse 200+ gorgeous gold-filled charms ($10 each) to create a piece that’s uniquely yours. Design your perfect charm placement, and The Collective Bead Co. will take care of the rest.

2:00–4:00 PM | Coastal Cake Decorating

Then transition into decorating your own ocean-inspired mini buttercream cake using textured buttercream techniques, piping details, and seaside finishing touches.

Whether you’re gathering with friends, celebrating summer, or simply looking for a creative escape, this experience is designed to feel social, stylish, and unforgettable.

Your Cake Flavours

Each guest will choose one cake flavour at checkout:

🍍 Island Vanilla
A soft vanilla cake with delicious pineapple filling for a bright, tropical coastal twist.

🤎 Golden Sands
Vanilla cake layered with Biscoff crumble and caramel warmth for a cozy shoreline-inspired flavour.

Your Cake Design Experience

Each guest will create a coastal-inspired buttercream cake featuring ocean textures, seashell accents, and sandy shoreline details. You’ll be guided through creating a beautifully styled cake that reflects the calm and beauty of the sea.

What’s Included

• A custom charm jewelry experience with The Collective Bead Co.
• $25 jewelry credit toward a bracelet or necklace
• Guided cake decorating instruction
• One mini 4″ (2 layer) crumb-coated cake prepared in advance
• Pre-made buttercream and all decorative elements
• Use of professional tools and equipment during the event
• Light refreshments
• A cake box to safely transport your finished creation home

You’ll leave with two handcrafted creations—a custom charm piece to wear and a beautifully decorated coastal cake to enjoy—plus the inspiration to keep creating long after the event.

Important Details

• This is a 16+ charm and cake decorating experience
• All attendees must be registered participants
• Sugar Thumb Studio is not an allergen-free kitchen. Products may contain or come into contact with common allergens including wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, and nuts
• If you have any concerns about suitability for the cake decorating portion, please email us at hello@sugarthumbstudio.com
• Events may be cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled due to insufficient enrollment, inclement weather, or illness
• Lumen House is a no outdoor shoes venue. Please bring socks or indoor footwear if preferred.
• Please note the venue has stair access only and is not fully accessible.
• Event fees are non-refundable unless Sugar Thumb Studio cancels the event. If you are unable to attend, your seat may be transferred to another guest with prior notice. Please email changes to hello@sugarthumbstudio.com

Doors open at 12:45 PM. Charm bar begins at 1:00 PM, followed by cake decorating from 2:00–4:00 PM.
