Join us at Sugar Thumb Studio for a cozy, café-inspired brunch cake decorating event!

This guided cake decorating experience blends warm coffeehouse charm with beautiful buttercream techniques for a sweet and memorable afternoon.

We’re delighted to partner with Bulles et Bieres, who will be providing coffee and tea service for guests to sip and enjoy throughout the celebration.

Whether you’re a first-time decorator or simply ready to sip, swirl, and celebrate — this hands-on experience is designed to help you slow down, get creative, and enjoy meaningful time together.

Your Cake Flavour

Each guest will decorate:
Chocolate cake with mocha buttercream
Double chocolate cake paired with luscious espresso buttercream — a dreamy balance of sweet and rich

What You’ll Learn & Experience

• How to colour buttercream and fill piping bags
• How to smoothly cover your cake for a flawless finish
• How to confidently use piping tips with guided practice
• How to pipe vintage-inspired borders
• Intro to using fondant to craft adorable coffee-inspired details for our cafe theme.
• Professional tips and tricks to bring your full design together

• A guided 2.5 hour cake decorating experience
• One 4” crumb-coated cake prepared in advance
• Pre-made buttercream
• Use of professional tools and equipment during the event
• Light snacks and pastries
• Coffee and tea service provided by Bulles et Bieres
• A cake box to safely take home your finished creation

Important Details

Events may be cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled due to insufficient enrollment, inclement weather, or illness.

Event fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Sugar Thumb Studio.

If you are unable to attend, your seat may be transferred to another guest with prior notice. Please email changes to hello@sugarthumbstudio.com.
